Friday Blaque List 15

What I….

KNOW

The SOPA bill grants CORPORATIONS and GOVERNMENTS the freedom to CENSOR any embarrassing information about them on the internet by shutting down sites without having to provide infringement claims, or going through the court system.

Recap: Governments and Corporations would be able to immediately and freely shut down any internet sites that post info which rubs them the wrong way!!

FEEL

That we’re all wrapped in plush white towels, being served crystal flutes of black, oily seawater before our Bull & Bear-Poo Facial at the Uncle Sam Spa.

  5. Any ideology which depends on the suppression of its opposition is inherently flawed. It can only continue as long as it refuses to allow free debate to uncover the truth about its deficiencies. That is true of Fascism – and as we saw in the former Soviet Union – it is true of Communism as well.

    • You’ve boiled this post down to the one word which describes it most accurately. Thank you!

      “FASCISM |ˈfaSHˌizəm|
      noun
an authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization.
      • (in general use) extreme right-wing, authoritarian, or intolerant views or practice.

The term Fascism was first used of the totalitarian right-wing nationalist regime of Mussolini in Italy (1922–43), and the regimes of the Nazis in Germany and Franco in Spain were also fascist. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one national or ethnic group, a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach.”
